Tom Fontaine started his career at KILT in 1990 answering the phone on The Bob Stephenson Outdoors Show. In the years since, he’s worked promotions, swing-shift, overnights, and currently holds down the 7pm to midnight shift each weeknight.
A 1986 graduate of Dickinson High School, Tom has also spent time in the ring pursuing his dream of being a professional wrestler. He was crowned Texas All-Star Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion and was very successful in his wrestling career until an injury sidelined him. He also has a very sharp wit, which allowed him to make it to the finals in the Funniest Person in Houston Contest in 1997.
Tom is very involved in the Houston community, including spending much of his time helping to raise money for various charities. He has hosted the Children’s Miracle Network telethon on Channel 11 and helped numerous other charities in their fundraising endeavours. You can catch Tom Monday through Friday from 7pm to midnight. |
